As counselors from Newmorning, celebrating the beautiful day dedicated for Children all over the country was a heartwarming experience that leaves pleasant memories of lovely smiles and gratitude. The event was a tapestry of joy, talent, and a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of each child.
The festivities began by engaging in meaningful conversations with the children about the significance of Children’s Day. It was an opportunity to impart valuable lessons about responsibility and citizenship. We continued with an engaging game of Housie where excitement echoed through out the room. The children learned to listen and eagerly marked their cards. Their competitive spirit was infectious. The children were delighted with the prizes they got each time they won.
During the cultural segment of the celebration, children showcased their abilities through dance and songs. The participant names were picked randomly and each and everyone won a prize.
What stood out was the transformative journey of some hesitant children who despite their initial reservations, gathered courage to perform. Witnessing their evolution from shy individuals to confident performers is a testament to the supportive environment fostered by Dream India Network (DIN). The children enjoyed the goodies and chocolates too.
The caretakers at the Foster Home were very supportive and provided all the facilities to make the day a memorable one for the children.
The celebration was more than just a fleeting moment of joy. It was a collective investment in the future, a gesture that recognized and celebrated the potential within each child
